Public Policy Leadership
Elizabeth is adept at translating client priorities into legislative language. She has drafted state and federal legislation geared toward improving access to high-quality health care, expanding federal coverage of substance abuse treatment and lowering overall health care costs.
She drafted the law creating New Jersey's Integrated Population Health Data Project (iPHD), a statewide repository of health data managed by Rutgers Center for Health Policy that is available to research applicants. She was appointed to the data system’s governing board by the governor as an individual with legal expertise and an interest in protecting the privacy and security of individually identifiable health information.
Co-chair of the firm's Government Relations Practice, Elizabeth is known for working closely with members of both political parties and health care leaders throughout New Jersey to improve health care policy. She is also experienced in navigating election law (ELEC) requirements and helping clients avoid "pay to play" and political contributions violations.
