Corporate Duo Stephen Katz and Abby Weiner Join Fox Rothschild in Morristown, NJ
Fox Rothschild welcomes Partner Stephen P. Katz and Counsel Abby Weiner to the Morristown, NJ office in the Corporate Department.

Katz devotes his practice to guiding clients through company formation, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions. Katz has also developed a practice focus area representing sellers and buyers in the facilities services and construction industries.
Drawing on more than three decades of experience in corporate law based in New Jersey and New York, Katz guides buyers and sellers all over the country through every phase of M&A deals, from initial structuring and due diligence through negotiation and closing. He also counsels companies on joint ventures, strategic investments, and domestic and international business combinations.
He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from University of Pennsylvania.
Weiner is a corporate and commercial real estate lawyer who concentrates her practice on guiding clients through mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and complex financing arrangements. She has more than 15 years of experience counseling businesses on deal structuring, due diligence, and transaction management.
On the corporate side, Weiner regularly handles entity formation and governance matters for LLCs, partnerships, and corporations, and drafts and negotiates shareholder agreements, operating agreements, and a wide range of commercial contracts.
Her commercial real estate practice encompasses acquisition and disposition transactions, mortgage and mezzanine financing, construction lending, and leasehold financing throughout New Jersey and New York.
Weiner earned her J.D. from George Washington University Law School and her B.A from Tufts University.
Prior to joining Fox, Katz was a partner and Weiner was counsel at Connell Foley.
