Sabec advises cannabis cultivators, manufacturers and other licensees on investment transactions, due diligence requests, trademark law, consulting agreements, landlord/tenant disputes, permit applications and an array of regulatory issues.

In the entertainment realm, Sabec has more than 25 years of experience providing legal advice and brand management to global entertainment businesses and digital media. He has catalyzed revenue growth for such major music artists as Hanson and the Jerry Garcia Estate, and has secured recording, publishing, licensing, merchandising, touring and other agreements for iconic bands and musicians.

A sought-after source on cannabis and entertainment law issues, Sabec has lectured at Stanford University and UC-Berkeley Law Schools and has participated in the South by Southwest Music Conference, MIDEM Publishing Conference, Sundance Film Festival, and Cannes Film Festival.

He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia and his B.S. from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.
