Fox Rothschild congratulates Dominique J. Carroll, who was selected by the Garden State Bar Association as a recipient of the Professional Lawyer of the Year Award.

The award recognizes attorneys who are respected by colleagues for their character, competence and exemplary professional behavior. Carroll was presented the award by the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law, which is the cooperative venture of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the state and federal judiciary, and New Jersey’s law schools.

Carroll is Treasurer of the Garden State Bar Association, New Jersey’s oldest and largest professional organization for African American judges, lawyers, law students and legal professionals.

A rising leader in the industry, he was also selected to the 2025 Class of Fellows for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, which consists of more than 300 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.

A skilled litigator and trial lawyer, Carroll focuses his practice on complex intellectual property litigation involving patents, trademarks and copyrights. He provides strategic representation to small, medium and large businesses in manufacturing, retail, media and other industries, assisting them with matters of trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition and false advertising.

Carroll also serves as outside general counsel to privately held businesses. He provides legal advice on a wide range of matters, including contract negotiations, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance, in addition to providing management and staff training.

Matthew Adams and Christopher Fallon also received Professional Lawyer of the Year awards.
